well before I ripped apart my dash and took out my raido...

a few hip hop CDs I made(UGK, Archie, Lil Jon, Camron, Styles, a ****load of stuff from the mid 90's, when rap was actually good ), definently gotta pump some Pastor Troy; for the R&B tunes I downloaded Amarie's whole CD, I still put in Alicia Keys every now and then; and lastly that one Dirty Vegas song and some ATB and Darude **** I downloaded a while back...any version of "Sandstorm" is perfect for racing!!! and oh yeah the latest Incubus album...thats a tight joint right there.

usually Beastie Boys, The Roots, Incubus, Moby sometimes, DJ Shadow's new album The Private Press has a great track on it for driving fast (Walkie Talkie), it's great to play loud but the rest of the album is more chillin.

Also I was playing track 3 off beastie's ill communication the other day, and in this one point a guy who sounds a lot like bill cosby goes "SHIEET, If I knew it waz gonna be that kinda party I'd stick my dik in tha mashed potatoes." and I had it on loud w/the sunroof open and this old lady across from the redlight made the meanest face ever at me.

music in my car sucks though since the sony CD deck in there currently requires pushing the cd in with another cd while talking dirty to it ("yeah you like that little ****!") and has problems even when it works, plus the bose amps squeal, hopefully soon I get an amp and speakers to hook up to the Mobile ES 910 that's currently up in my room.

Your all forgetten something

The best sound I've ever listened to in my Max is that sweet sound of the V6 wind up to 6000rpm on a cool night! Who needs all of these fancy musicians. They couldn't come close to the adrenaline rush of a sweet sounding engine.

Oh guess I should put in what I mostly listen anyway. Since I recently replaced my Radio with a GPS/CD/MP3 7"LCD computer system I lost the use of my radio (Still working on this). As a result I'm down to the only 16 CD's I've ever bought in my life. Most of it is Enya (I play a lot of her stuff on the piano), Other stuff is movie soundtracks from the likes of John Williams (Star Wars soundtrack is pretty cool for those odd times) or James Horner, Hans Zimmer (The Rock). My one Techno / Rock / Everything else CD is the soundtrack to "Command and Conqure" the computer game, which actually has some pretty sweet base lines in a few of the songs (I also dabble a little in the bass guitar).

Sounds pretty wimpy compared to all of you folks but but to each his own. I'm thinking about visiting a Surplus store and picking up some better stuff if I can't figure out how to get my radio going again.

on the streets of the chi, when i had my cd changer in my old max i had three different cd's of all twista. chi-town ****e. i bumped tupac and other west coast artiists too when cruzin too. on the expressway, i listen to rock, moslty spanish rock. rock just feels better when i am driving fast with the windows down.
now i have no cd player in my max, so i have to listen to the radio.

-Couldnt agree more!! The music I listen to is Pearl Jam (which is my fav band), Tool, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Led Zeppelin, Smashing Pumpkins, Temple of the Dog, and Live. There are a few others which I also like but I cant think of right now.

My friend (whose working with me now) loves Led Zeppelin (Stairway to Heaven-of course, Battle of Evermore, Babe I'm Gonna Leave You, Since I've Been Loving You, Immigrant Song, Going to California, Friends, Dazed and Confused, Ramble On, Thank You are his favorites). He wouldn't be caught dead listening to some of the stuff some of you listen to like Creed, Incubus, Papa Roach, Linkin Park, etc. Besides Zep, he likes Radiohead, Dead Can Dance, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, Tool, Tricky, DJ Shadow, Smashing Pumpkins, The Who, The Beatles, VAST--all are great groups to drive to. (adamis, since you like soundtracks & Enya a lot, check out Dead Can Dance).
