im gonna buy a 92 or 93 SE , how many miles is too many miles without expecting problems from the car? thanks

 

I'd say on an 8/9 year old car the overall condition and service history is far more important than outright mileage.

 

Agreed. Find out how many owners it has had, and ask to see all service records

 

I have a '92 SE with 115,000 on the car. I had to replace all of the fuel injectors, and what i've heard, the timing belt will also need replacing soon. So i'd say, get one with low miles, or higher that about 130k.

 

if you have a 92SE, you dont have a timing belt

Timing chain never needs to be changed and why were all your injectors replaced?

 

that is not true...timing chains can stretch and break too just not as early or often as a belt.

 

Of course, it's never supposed to be changed. There is no service life stated for the chain as the belt has or say spark plugs.
