Window broke again!!!!!

I recently installed a NEW motor and regulator for my passenger side window because it was broke when I got it. Now it won't work again. I opened the side panels and saw that the wire was all chewed up new the glass. What should I do just buy a whole new assenbly or a new wire?

Re: Window broke again!!!!!

same thing happened to me twice now on the passenger window. money doesn't grow on trees around here so i just put a piece of wood below the glass to support it and screwed it in nice and tight. window doesn't work of course, but it doesn't fall down anymore.

My guess would be you can just replace the wire, but make sure you attach it in a way that it won't get shredded again.
