5 speed conversion

Okay this is the situation. The max goes into the shop on Wednesday, and im getting a new or used transmission put in. Ive got about 1300 but my parents are willing to pay some as well. But they think im getting a auto transmission because my car is currently auto. Im going to see if this shop can do the conversion but im wondering how much I should expect to pay for this? any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
