FS: Illumina/H-Tech Setup
I am selling my current suspension setup because I'm switching to coilovers. For sale are
- 4 Tokico Illumina 5-way adjustable struts
- 4 TEIN High-Tech springs
- Brand new front bumpstops & dustboots
- mzmtg's rear strut mounts (increased travel) (optional - $50 extra)
The setup has around 12,000 miles on it, most of which are highway miles since I bike to work and really don't drive much. The setup also has never been driven on winter roads. I had the struts off the car in October and they looked perfect with no signs of leakage.
This setup will work on any 1995-1999 Maxima. The drop is 1.6" front/1.2" rear, which is absolutely perfect for manual (most lowering springs leave the front too high because they're designed for the heavier automatic cars) and will give a slightly more aggressive drop on an auto. These are designed to be comfortable lowering springs so they're not as stiff as others, although they're definitely stiffer than stock. The rear mounts give almost an inch of extra travel, which means a better ride and less stress on the struts.
Asking $450 + shipping OBO.

Here are photos of the struts and springs when I had them off the car last October. Everything was in excellent condition except the rear dustboots (a little torn but still fine) and a few cosmetic chips.

I've put under 1000 miles on the suspension since those photos were taken. The car is now garaged for the winter and I still have to take off the suspension (it's been so damn cold...). Earliest date I could ship would be Monday, Feb. 19th. Thanks for looking.

I'm told the money order is in the mail, so consider these SOLD unless I post back here.
I do still have the increased travel rear mounts for sale. $70 shipped. I will also post a new thread.
