FS: K-Sport Coilovers

I have a full set of K-Sport coilovers for sale. The kit has around 15K miles on it. Two of the shock units are in need of replacement. K-Sport can do this I believe for $150 per unit.

K-Sport Coilovers - $240 shipped

I started noticing the difference in ride quality just before I took them off. Once I had them off I saw the wetness from the oil and knew they were definitely going bad. One front and one rear are bad. They can still be used but I would imagine for a week at the most. Once the oil starts dripping out of them it's usually only a few days until the shock is doing absolutely no dampening at all.

The coilovers come with a set of 7/6 springs, but I also have available the original 9/7 springs.

So do yo want 600 for the coil overs all together or 150 per pair? I'm an ignoramous when it comes to coil overs, what exactly does it do? I'm on my way to buy some AGX's but I keep hearing the coil overs are top notch. Depending on the price and how quickly it takes k-sports to fix them I wouldn't mind coming today to get these from you.

I'm selling all four of mine (2 of which are blown) for $240 shipped. I'm just saying that it will cost you another $150 or so each to get them fixed ($300 to fix the 2 blown). There's a lot of discussion on coilovers and you can certainly just browse the boards and read up on them. The basic premise is that coilovers allow you to adjust the ride height at each wheel in infinite increments and give you the ability to adjust the weight of the vehicle at each corner (wheel). Corner weighting is not something I got into as I wasn't that serious with them but its one of the benefits of coilovers. They also allow you to adjust the amount of compression in each spring dramatically changing how the car handles.

$550 shipped... that's if I can confirm that they are $150 each to repair (plus the shipping there and back).

I might be interested after they are repaired. And I'm in NY, not to mention wifey lives in NJ so pickup shouldn't be an issue if you're in Northern Jersey.
