This is a JWT ECU for use in a 96/97 automatic transmission 4th gen. This unit runs perfectly but will not pass OBDII inspection. No CELs. This is a great upgrade to go with a MEVI or just the stock engine.

Price: $400 OBO..

Make me a offer.

Why wouldn't it pass OBDII inspection? Is it and OBD 1 ecu?

It's a OBDII ecu but when my dad (he owns the car now) took the car in for inspection he says it failed the readiness test. My simple solution was to put the stock ECU back and just sell the JWT ECU since I don't drive the car anymore.. =) Maybe the inspection place was wrong. It's never failed before though. It's been inspected at least twice before. Just to be safe I don't want the buyer to count on it being OBDII inspection compliant.

Its a fed spec ecu. This is a 92 octane map for Y-pipe and MEVI. The redline is a conservative 6700rpm. The tach reads 7000 before the rev limiter actually kicks in though.
