F.S. - 4th Gen Tein Super Street Coilovers
Thats right, 4th gen Tein SS's.
notice the stillen camber plates up top in the pic below...
12k miles since last and only rebuild which was done to fix a faulty dampning adjustment screw. damper rebuild was not required, but was done anyway (under Tein warranty). i've had these since 2004 and i have not had a single blow out. i live in the desert where weather is tough (cold at night, very windy with sand blowing all over the place, & hot as hell during the day). i have these on my daily driver which was used to commute to my job 70 miles away on desert two lane roads that leave much to be desired as far as paving is concerned. even then, these CO's have enough give to drive over bad road, and still live up to their name (Super Streets) in the canyons and autoX events. if you have any questions about the coilovers, please post them or visit Tein USA's site. up for sale are four coilover w/ rear pillowball mounts. i do have available Stillen Front Camber Plates to complete this setup.
Prototype C.O. Retail Value: $1200+
B14 Rear PillowBall Mounts Retail Value: $140
Stillen Front Camber Plates Retail Value: $335
Total Retail Value: $1675
Price: $700
w/ Stillen Camber Plates: $900
Selling at 52% of retail value!!! Don't miss out...

very good point! thats what makes these so valueable. back in 2003 GT Fabrications in CA convinced Tein USA to consider production of a Super Street version of their coilovers for the 4th gen Max. Tein brought in a local GT Fab 4th Gen customer to test fit their first prototype. Tein later decided to scrap the idea for whatever reason. in Dec 2005 i purchased the donor car for this test fit. i didn't realize this fact until i sent my Teins in for a rebuild. after my CO's arrived at Tein USA this news was explained to me by the rep down there that was in charge of my order. i'm surprised no one else mentioned this until now. that was a good observation on your behalf ImmaSquashYou.

yea, i figured it had to be custom..i was just suprised that no one else noticed this. This is why i have my D2's and don't have teins. Its for the fact that you can't adjust the dampening. I had to read this post like 5 times until i was sure of what i was reading.....I thought i was going nuts...
