wtb : shifter trim 5 speed black

Like the title says..the auto shifter trim looks stupid..i want the 5 speed one.
I'm not sure how a boot is held up..does the trim have something build in it to keep the boot up? i dont have the little metal rod that runs through the shift boot i have so that might cause a problem...i'll figure somethin out though.

damn really. i have a redline boot so i dont need a boot but just the trim would be pretty tight. 45 aint bad at all though

hard to tell from the pic, but are there any noticable cosmetic problems? im not sure how the boot fits in there, is there some kind of metal bracket piece underneath the trim?

I called in before and was confirmed by some lame *** that if I included "manual transmission/black" in the notes of my order that would be all I'd have to do.
well it took them like 2 weeks to get it to me and LOW AND BEHOLD, i got a ****ing automatic shifter trim. YAY....automatic, the exact opposite that I made sure to notify them that I wanted.

So I call up and the guy does some investigation. Yeah, what they call the "shiftboot" is actually the manual shifter trim and the boot comes with it. its "sewed together" says the parts guy. He says "its a couple dollars more" yeah..its 50 dollars more. so what we talkin about here 70 bucks? damn, quite a profit for an item they probably sell one of every couple years. how much you think it cost them to make that little assembly there? 25 cents?

and unfortunately they dont cover return shipping charges...how conveinant is that. He did say if i called in he would refund me the shipping cost.

so i'm STILL looking. abomb never got back to me.
