can anyone tell me if this is a decent deal or not? seems good, but ... i am leary. also, for a bi-xenon system, do you need 4 ballasts or just 2?

yea they are good price. You can get it cheaper from ebay but the quality will be different. Plus the fact that websites like those can take the product back unlike ebay, most people will only exchange. I hate that.

The Group deal forum has better deals than what you have listed in your link. Go to the link in you PM and talk to Automax 95. He has a kit for $160 shipped.

You only need to ballast to run the HID bulbs. The Bixenon has a solenoid that you have to wire with a diode to your high beams.

Once you activate your high beams, the solenoid activates and opens up the shield inside the projector.

The HID kit is just to produce the light.
The Projector's job is to focus the light in a certain beam pattern and the bixenon part is to control the cutoff shield inside of the projectors to allow for a high beam.

Let me know if I can answer any additional questions.

Thanks,
Man
