FS: VAFCII brand new
FS: VAFCII brand new
For sale is a brand new in the box Apex'i VAFCII. The color is black. Was going to install it with a wideband, but I changed my mind. This has 24 tuning points as opposed to 12 (or 16, can't remember which) on the SAFCII.
$220 local pick up in SoCal or plus shipping.
edit: $200 shipped. get this **** out of here.
****ING SOLD.!!!!!!!! Close this thread.

Bump for a great price and a cool guy to deal with! Can't believe someone hasn't snatched this yet! Brand new is definitely the way to go......
IIRC:
SAFC 12 points
VAFC 24 points
Neo 16 points

I think there are too many people moving toward a more robust piggyback like the SMT or eManage platform. This is a good price, but not a price where people are just going to jump on it. Ewuzh, how about a PM with best price shipped to 43230 and I might be motivated.

Maybe I'm confused, but I thought while in open loop (<40% throttle) the ECU pulls signal from the O2 sensors and adjusts to stay at stoich, but in closed loop (>40% throttle) it no longer pulls signal from O2 sensors and runs on predefined maps (which are conservative).
I stand corrected. The names are somewhat counter-intuitive. That's where I mix them up. To me "closed" means no longer pulling data, using pre-defined maps. "Open" mean to me that they are pulling data and making trims.
