F/S 95 5spd transmission

i was at the u-pull-it yard today and found a 95 maxima there w/ 170k on it. it was wrecked in the front so i am assuming the trans is good but i dont know for sure. i will pull it and sell it pretty cheap since the miles are kinda high. i was thinking $250 plus shipping or local pickup prefered. i am located in quakertown paennsylvania. we may be able to work out some kind of limited warranty if anyone is interested.

its easy to do. i did a clutch on my garage floor in 5hrs on my 97. the unit is sold AS IS. if you want a warranty then the cost goes up. plus, i dont know who is doing the install. if its not installed right and something happens to the transmission, i might get blamed for selling you a bad unit. on the other hand, if you want me to do the swap then i will garauntee the transmission. the labor cost will be $250.

I dont think I cant get my car jacked up high enough will my little jack and i do not think i have the time to do it. How long would it take you to slap it in there and how long would u warranty it? Where are you located so i can figure how much my tow would cost. You would do it for 500 total?

i am located in quakertown. my address is 2630 steinsburg rd. quakertown pa 18951. it would take me a day to do. the price would be $500 for the transmission and install. factor in new axle seals, trans fluid, and brake fluid and you are looking at closer to $550 total. i will only warranty it for a week. when you come to pick it up, we can drive it around the block together to make sure its okay. i dont like to warranty it at all because i dont know how you will treat it after it leaves my garage. but out of fairness to you i will give you a seven day warranty.

btw...what kind of tech are you? i saw you refer to the differential as the "transfer case." a 4wd truck has a transfer case. a maxima does not. maybe its best that you let someone put the transmission in for you.

I was just refering it such as a transfer case, didnt mean to make things complicated. I guess i should of used transaxle/transmission. Well im moving to virginia and im tryin to get things situated and i dont have time to play with my car. I am thinkin about fixing it for the time being so im not forced in to buying a new car that I really do not want. I will let you know my decision as soon as possible. I am an Audi tech i just finished school. only 20 years old. Sorry for the complication....
