F/S - NY - Custom dual exhaust, axle back**SOLD**

For sale is a custom dual exhaust off my 99 maxima. I bought it off this forum about a year ago. My max is turning into my beater so i have no need for this.

The exhaust bolts right up to your stock or after market b pipe. The piping bends around the spare tire bump so no need to alter anything. I'm assuming this will fit a 97-99 but I'm not totally sure. There is some rust but nothing too bad.

Price is $100. I prefer pickup since the shipping will probably be more than the exhaust. I will also meet up with you if you aren't too far.

Thanks

Damn that's an interesting setup. How does it sound? What's the size on the piping?

- I have no idea what shipping would be since I have no idea where I would find a box that big. The exhaust is about 3 1/2 feet by 3 1/2 feet by about 6 inches. My only guess is easily $100.

- The piping is about 2 1/4 inches. If I remember correctly it is a borla muffler so it has a deep rumble to it. I used to have a greddy evo exhaust on the car and this dual exhaust is deeper.

^^^ do you let your girl (I assume) drive your car? Reason I ask is because I think I have seen this maxima on the 84 and when the car past me, I was expecting a dude and it was a girl... Do not know you but definitely sounded nice...
I have family in the Town of Newburgh.....

Out of curiousity, do you know what brand this is or did the member that sold it to you tell which one it was? Or did they have it custom welded, etc.?

jaemax - Ha yeah, it is my wifes car right now but will be mine again soon.

nick_auto96 - Im not totally sure. It should since the bodies were the same but I really have no idea. At the very most a muffler shop could make it fit.

AllMaxxedout - The exhaust is custom welded and the muffler is a borla if I remember correctly.

I don't remember if the 95-96 exhaust is the same as the 97-99, but it should be.

I ran a VERY rough quote to both your addresses and this is what I got. Both zips came out to the same rate. Keep in mind this is guessing the size the box would be and guessing how much it would weigh. Figure this number could be larger by at least 20 or so.

FED EX - 85
UPS - 100
DHL - 85

yeah, it costs alot because its big and odd shaped. VERY rough shipping quote to 87112 is:
UPS - 130
FEDEX - 100
DHL - 100

Also keep in mind that this is a ROUGH quote and could be different.

bring it to a shipping location, they just weigh it and slap a sticker on it to ship, it's a hassle but might cut shipping costs in half.

If any of you are really that interested I can take it to fedex and see what they say without a box. Just give me all the zips before I go.

Ok, so I checked with UPS, FedEx, and DHL and they all said that they wouldn't accept it out of a box unless it was bolted to a pallet and shipped freight which they all said will cost at least twice as much. They said I could build a cardboard box to be almost the exact size of the exhaust and it might save like $10 off the price, but mu quotes were pretty good.
