With this one I have no experience with it, I have seen pictures of it installed on a 97 and a 00 somewhere on the net. The sound will be louder since the two pre-cats are gone, and there are headers, performance gains will be around the same as other y-pipes 15-20hp, people say the headers are supposed to give another 5 hp.

the car becomes a bit louder but not by much. my flex sections need to be replaced as it has a bees-in-the-can noise. for power, upper end has a tad bit more pull. power gains arent something to be overly impressed with, although the construction of the headers are pretty nice. thick flanges, nice welds, mandrel bent sections.

That set-up is definitly not a direct fit with stock headers if that's what your wondering, it's all or nothing, don't know why you would want the factory Y + headers

this is NOT going to bolt-on to the OEM y-pipe. these are long runner headers. it replaces the headers and y-pipe.

do your research guys.

well the reason iasked is becuase if it did i would've tried to bolt the headers to the warpspeed 3" exhaust. thanks for your knowledge though!

I never said it wouldn't bolt up to the 3" warpspeed though, that's all after the cat so yes, it will, buy it, it's a good deal 4sure.

Sorry to clutter your fs thread man, just trying to help everybody.

Another nice feature about this is that they give you a second o2 bung, this can come in VERY handy for wideband tuning

Fed spec your y-pipe is a one piece then headers, cali spec your y-pipe is two pieces,(front headers there is a canister type piece that attaches to the y-pipe going up to the header) then your headers, cat, etc. The OBX replaces the headers and the y-pipe so it would work on either.

these headers actually do NOT bolt up to warpspeed 3" exhaust if you have the 3" high flow cat as well. I have these headers, I had the warspeed exhaust, the flanges are different (headers have 2 bolt, warpspeed is 3 bolt) on each and I ended up having a custom catback made because I couldnt get the 2 to join together. Now its better than before.

These headers made a nice sound, although I had them done at the same time as the rest of the exhaust I have no comparison except to a different set up.
