im not sure if its cali or fed? it was on my 98 i30..im removing my performance mods since my gf is going to drive the car more often

 

stupid question : did that start as stainless or aluminized?

 

its not stainless, its has a coating on it

It is fed spec y pipe...cali spec ones do not have the second 90* bend up to the front exhaust manifold.

Not always true...my stainless steel Cattman has a coating on it from a little under a year of use.

It looks dented on the front drop adjacent to the O2 bung.... Is it dented? Also, in which state was the car it was installed on?

 

im not sure what state the mid pipe was originally installed...i purchased the pipe from a maxima board member, there is a scape/dent on that portion of the pipe but its not aggressive at all...still waiting on the first buyer that i had promised to sell it if i dont receive payment at the end of the weekend im moving on to the next buyer...ill keep you guys posted
