haha it's all good. Just remind me in a few weeks. Plus, this may be a newb question, but what's the best way to cut the flanges off, and where exactly would i cut along the piping? I have a sawzaw and a hand saw...

Don't worry about it, I have a y pipe that has a junked flex section so I can take care of his request. I use a metal hacksaw to cut through the piping and it works fine.

I need to replace my no-precat-having-Y-pipe because the muffler shop quoted me 600$ to replace with a stock one (which comes with 2 precats). I'm sick of hearing my exhaust...

Off topic, but why do have to replace that Y? Did you not pass emission tests?
