WTB: 1 97-99 SE 16" wheel

Wife hit lawrd knows what with her Maxima, bent the **** out of the inside of 1 rim. I have actually moved these wheels over to our new ride, a 95 Quest, and even with this wheel on the back, I get a terrible vibration at certain speeds.

If anyone has a spare rim for cheap, let me know. Preferably close to Chicago, but I imagine shipping for 1 wheel won't break the bank.

Wheels actually look pretty decent on the Quest, certainly better than the ones it came with (now on 95 Maxima, which is for sale soon)

Yeah, I just saw a few on ebaay for about ~$150 shipped, unfortunately that is well beyond my definition of "cheap." Hoping to find something for ~$50 or so. Not a huge rush, van came with a full-size spare, so we're rockin' that for the moment. Need to find a hub cap for it, rusty steel wheel isn't too attractive.

yeah, the tires I have on there are a bit shorter than stock. Should have 215-65-16's, I had some 215-60-16's laying around, went with those to save cash. Gap would still be big though. Ah well, it's a minivan for the wife to drive, I'll go with ride comfort over looks.

Thanks a lot, let me know what you find. I'm actually in the south burbs of Chicago, so Kenosha is a bit of a drive. But if you have it, I'll figure something out. Might just have you ship it if you wouldn't mind the bother of packing it up and sending it out. Even in my Corolla, the gas to Kenosha and back would sukk (about 200 miles round trip).

Got the van a badazz Taurus hub cap from the junk yard for $3 today. That will do until I find a suitable replacement wheel. Got this one, sort of a 5-spoke design, looks good enough for the spare tire. Plus it's good to have a cap on an under-car spare, helps keeps the wheel from getting too rusty.
