I have a VAFC-2 that I took out of my car since I did the full 3.5 swap and dont plan on messing with tuning it. Comes without the subharness since I never got one with it since I bought it... $180 shipped.

Haha thats wayy to far away. Now I have to learn how to use this thing and find a harness. Do I NEED a harness or can I hook it up without it?

You don't NEED the sub-harness. It just makes it easier to quickly disconnect the unit from the ECU. Otherwise its pretty much directly hardwired.

yeah, the sub-harness will add some length, obviously, but other than that, you'll be fine. And it's really not too hard (like one screw) to take the unit apart and disconnect the harness there...if you really need to sometime.
