Hey all ... looking to finaly do the swap. I'm looking for everything needed to swap out my 5spd to a 6spd. Doesn't have to be LSD, I'm not picky. I do a lot of hiway driving and a taller 5th gear isn't much of an option, so it's 6spd time.

Hey jtz, i tried this not too long ago . I ended up going on www.car-part.com and found everything i needed including the shifter. it all cost me close to 1200 also including the ring from travis. Tsaulz has a ring that he will sell also so pm him about that.

Will the 3.0 starter not work? I thought it would, but I guess with a different timing gear, maybe not.

Parts needed:
6speed tranny from maxima or spec v tranny with maxima bell housing with I have
shifer with cable
6 speed axels only
6 speed carrier bracket on back of motor.
6 speed clutch and flywheel
3.0 timing ring
You will need the 3.5 starter.
You will need the 6 speed tranny mount for the tranny and car maxima or spev will work i have a spec mount.
