Super cheap parts car in DFW Area - $300
Hey,
Got a line on a Maxima that's been totalled out. The whole car flipped and then decided to tap a tree. Came out landing on all four wheels so I'm guessing the suspensions pretty much shot! The only thing on the body that seems to be any count is the right rear passenger door (The wreck even nicked the trunk enough to waste it). Interior is in decent shape though the weather has gotten in through the broken frt and rear glass. Motor and trans are in excellent shape...Buddy of mine got the car, needs to get rid of it, only wants $300 for the whole car.
Stats:
1995/6 Maxima GXE (build date 8/95) White in color
166,000 miles on odometer (pretty sure it's original milage)
Automatic trans. (The trans is worth the price of the car!!)
Hardtop - NO SUNROOF
Glass good on all passengers doors; drivers door, front, and rear glass
busted or broken out.
OEM tail light is great condition (of course 95/96 style)
Grey cloth seats (really good shape, no rips or tears that I saw, just needs to be cleaned)
DOES HAVE OEM floor matts (buddy would not let me have them unless I bought the car)
Steel wheels (frt passenger side bent, other three appear good with good tread)
Drivers side air bag POPPED, Passenger side still good
Downside:
Cars located south of Dallas/Ft. Worth area (Midlothian) and will probably need to be hauled out with a trailer or tow truck.
If you live near this area and need a motor and trans, this is an excellent deal. PM me and I'll give you the information who to contact.
Please Note: Car will not be parted out (I can't even get the floor mats out myself). If you need or want parts off of it, you WILL have to buy the car and get it off yourself - Sorry about that. Thought this might stop the this and that questions for parts.
I will answer questions (to my best knowledge) regarding what's still good or bad on the car to help you all out if I can.
I thought about buying the car to part it out myself, but I'm from TN and have no way to get it back there. (I travel and work in the DFW area)
Told my buddy I'd post this for him, to help him get it sold.
Sorry for no pics, my camera's in TN and I'm currently in TX.
(then again, if you don't live in TX, seeing it won't do any good anyways)
Thanks.

I'm sure you read the statement, but if you really want a visual, take a soda can and smash it with your hand, that's about what the car looks like...

The entire interior looks to be in good shape. Gray cloth seat (no tears that I saw - though really wasn't looking that close), Black trim (Standard GXE interior for the year). The only thing that comes to mind is the trim around the radio is cracked a little bit, Can't say much for the upper part of the dash as most of the frt windshied is laying on it. There is water in the car (from rain), the seats are damp, but should be easily dried out. Carlos send me a PM if your really interested and I'll get you the number who to call to see the car.
