SOLD: New Stillen Supercharger Setup

By way of background, I've had my '96 Maxima since new, and 8 years ago I relocated (temporarily) here to NC to usher my aged mother thru the final chapter of her life. But this Fall she turns 99 and seems to be in no rush to move on, and this caregiver mission is now several more years than I had originally anticipated. Inspired by a bunch of guys like Iansw, Matty, Stephen Max, Ptatohed and Jay25, back around 6 years ago I started to accumulate all the stuff for a sweet SC setup, planning to install it after I returned to Colorado and the 6000 foot elevations. While here I've done a 5-speed VLSD swap into the car, a MEVI and then an 00VI, but outdoors in a gravel driveway with the car being my daily driver is too much to undertake an engine swap and SC setup. And now with the car having 40-50K more miles on it than I thought it would have after returning to Colorado, and no realistic timeframe for when that's going to happen, reality has set in about this Stillen SC setup. So I’m selling the whole shootin match that I had planned to install. And although breaking it up and selling things individually would bring in more money, I’m not hurting financially and will patiently wait for that right person looking for this sort of package. FOR STARTERS, OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD I CANNOT THINK OF ANYTHING THAT I'LL BE LISTING HERE THAT ISN'T BRAND NEW, NEVER INSTALLED, ZERO-TIME, EXCEPT FOR THE 5th GEN ENGINE. So here’s what included:
It's a Stillen 4th Gen V2 Supercharger kit with Matty's V1 plate conversion kit. The T-Rex and FMU were sold off because my plan was to use (and included in this sale) a Walbro 255 pump, 370cc injectors (refurbished by RC Engineering but never installed), an AFPR (done by one of the guys on the Forum, but I forget his name), and all of this is a whole lot better suited to the use of an aftermarket EMS than Stillen's fuel management components. The setup has the 3.25" pulley (mounted on the Vortech SC) as well as the original 3.60" pulley. Most of the small parts are still in the original Stillen bags!

Also included is a 2000/2001 engine with only ~ 25K miles on it that I pickled and have kept stored. I bought it from a local salvage operation back around 2003/2004 after confirming the VIN and ESN match and mileage thru CarFax and Nissan North America's database. I probably still have the documentation on that if producing it is critical.

Also a new Fidanza flywheel and new Spec Stage 2 clutch with a couple of TOB's.

There are new ES motor mounts installed in their housings and ready to bolt in.

Also a Zeitronix Wideband 02 setup plus AutoMeter matching (white face) gauges for boost and fuel pressure, plus a pillar pod.

And I have the original Stillen documentation as well as Ptatohed’s comprehensive installation How-To instructions.

And I’ve taken the liberty of reproducing the picture of Matty’s V2 Conversion Kit

The price for the whole package is now dropped down to $3500, and I’ll do my best to answer any questions. It’s preferred for local pickup, and I'm located in Western North Carolina, a 3-hour drive from Atlanta or Knoxville and 2 hours from Charlotte). However, having said that, I did go to the trouble of getting a shipping quote (the engine being the biggest cost driver) of $250 for terminal-to-terminal shipping from North Carolina to New Mexica.

Curt, sorry to hear that your original plans won't be going through. But, I am glad to hear your mom is still going strong. Good luck with everything.

I've had several PM's from guys who'd like "most" of this setup, but might not all (like maybe they'd rather use another approach to engine management or different injectors or another clutch). I can understand that this specific combination might not be the perfect "cup of tea" for everyone, but to them I'd suggest that you can always sell off the parts that aren't exactly what you like.

Bump and vouch for the seller. If you want a complete SC kit, it would be hard to find a better guy to deal with.

GL with the sale, Curt!

Well, there were two guys all excited about how they were going to buy this, but turns out the operative term is "were" as in the last couple of weeks they've not come any closer to flollowing thru on their expressed intentions. As they often say down in Texas (with all due respect to any of you cow pokes), "All hat but no cattle!"
So this setup is back in play with the price dropped by $500. Also, one of those guys indicated he was willing to pay for shipping and I went to the trouble of getting a shipping quote for him of $250 terminal-to-terminal South Carolina to New Mexico, and even offered to eat anything over that figure.
If someone wants everything but the engine (long block) I indicated that I'd be willing to drop the price by another $400 (or whatever more than that if someone can source me a buyer for a higher figure). $400 for a 25K mile 5th gen engine sounds like a sweet deal for someone who's looking for one.

Just to make sure we're clear, you're offering to buy everything I have currently listed less the clutch, flywheel and (I presume) the engine at the currently listed $3500 price (plus shipping but no extra for PayPal fees), and that $3500 price will be reduced by the $400 figure I posted about for the engine, as well as being further reduced to reflect the exclusion of the flywheel and clutch. In my mind a reasonable price I might expect to be able to get for those two items is 2/3rds of the Group prices offered on Maxima.org by ImportCarPartsP, which are-
Fidanza Flywheel: Offered at $361 less 1/3rd = $241.
Spec Stage 2 Clutch: Offered at $336 less 1/3rd = $224.
So, by to my math: $3500 less $400 less $241 leas $224 = $2635.
And I'll offer this suggestion/offer to help "facilitate" the resale of Matty's V1 kit: if you want I'll just hold it here (and not ship it to you) and wait until you have a buyer and give me the shipping instruations for it. That would cut out the double-cost of shipping it twice.
And let me add that the shipping charge is a "cost pass-thru" where I charge only the actual amount using my FedEx Ground account with no add-on for the packaging, etc.
Am I missing anything? Let me know.
Curt

I made 2 mistakes:

First: Assuming that the kit would be around 2K without all the stuff I dont need, and honestly I think this would be a fair offer.

Second: Thinking I could part out your kit and sell the stuff I dont need, but I came out to realise that I dont have time for this.

I have a brand new JDUB body kit that cost me 1500$ to get here, it is still brand new and I cant even get 500$ for it so I can imagine that used I would barely get 100$ for it or maybe I will have to pay someone to get it.

The reality is that used equipment worth about 50% of the value they where paid for, look around and you will see I'm not exaggerating, but I understand that you try to recover as much as you can.

Good luck with the sale anyway.

I miss the point you're trying to make: other that the engine - which I took out of the deal - what's the "used" stuff you're referring to? It's all new without ever having been run! Someone's confused here!

Again I made a mistake and make my excuses, how long do this still have to go on ?

OC Nooby, I dont know WTF you have to do with this, so please mind your own Fockin business. You've been on this forum for about 3 months so you dont have any lesson to give to any one.

Again I'm publicly making my excuses to Curt & erased all my post. This is my last intrusion in this thread.

Good luck with the sale.

Well, the Stillen supercharger and all related components are sold.
http://forums.maxima.org/7040425-post1.html
The 2000/2001 25K mile engine long block will be listed individually, as will the Fidanza flywheel and Spec Stage 2 clutch kit.

For an 03, there is no SC kit. You'd be better off with a turbo system.
