F/S Stillen RSB
F/S Stillen RSB
I am selling a used Stillen RSB for a 4th gen Max. I used it on my old 5th gen. I had to drill an extra hole on each side of the Bar and even though the brackets weren't meant to fit the rear trailing arms of the 5th gen, it still worked good. Some hardware is missing. I got the bar, brackets and bolts. I can provide pics, upon request. I'm asking $120 shipped. Thanks for your time.
The hardware to space the parking brake cable that runs along thetrailing arm. It needs to be spaced because of the brackets. Let me try and dig up some info on the exact harware. Basically what I am selling, is how I bought it. I bought this from a former 4th gen member. Pm me your e-mail in case I can't pm pics. I don't know big the pics are. One more thing, i'll be taking new updated pics of what I am selling. Give me about a day for that. Thanks.
p.s There are a couple of pics (not very good ones) of the bar on my old car.

The above links are for the newest pics. The hole that I had to drill was the middle one I believe. Below are the older pics of the RSB.

So that you know, this bar is made for a 4th gen. At the time I was set on buying it for my 5th gen, I was under the impresssion that there was no diffrence from 4th gen and 5th gen RSBs. I later found out that the brackets are slightly diffrent. Plus, the 4th gen bar has 4 holes on each side for adjustability. The 5th gen has 5 holes. Even so, the bar worked on my maxima. I did so by drilling another hole on each side of the bar. A stillen rep sent me a drawing of the 5th gen version of the bar to go off of. Going back to the brackets; from my understading, the 5th gens rear trailing arms are bigger than the 4th gens. So the brackets didn't completly wrap around the rear trailing arms. They probably did at the top part where they mate together, but on the bottom they didn't. But you can still bolt them down. If you want me to take a picture to illustrate what I mean, let me know. I'll do that best I can. But that is why I decided to post this on the 4th gen section. I'm not trying to sway you from buying it or sway you to buy it either. I just want you to be aware of all this and decide for yourself. In any case, thanks for your time. If you have any questions, let me know.
P.S. One more thing; back when would install the bar on my max, I had clunking issues. I resolved this by moving the bar either more foward or back from the beams or by tightening the bolts more. Most times it was by tightening the bolts more.
