FS: Pair of 4th Gen Wedge Engineering Seat Brackets for Recaros

11-13-10

Found these this morning in my room. i forgot i had them but they are for recaros but im sure it could work with a variety of aftermarket seats. I dont have my maxima anymore so these are of no use to me. They are brand new pieces never used by me nor the previous owner. asking 100 bucks or best offer on them. Im negotiable on them since i really dont need them at all. Located in Philly so local pickup is prefered, but willing to ship. Paypal verified. thanks

Are these adjustable or fixed brackets?

I am interested in these as well if your first offer doesn't go through.

Any pics of these brackets by any chance?

Would I be able to bolt on a Recaro street seat and have the seat be slidable? I'm looking at a Recaro speed 5 seats right now. Though it would be cheaper and safer to have a fixed racing seat, other people drive my car and its still a street car.

well its just the bracket. with any bucket, you still need to purchase sliders. for whichever seat you decide to get. ill snap some pics in the morning

Gotcha.

I got a free Cobearu racing seat with a 4th gen bracket & slider and took a quick look at it so I understand it a bit better now. The seat is old, heavy, sits to high, moldy, and doesn't have the proper setup for a 5 or 6 point harness. It has to go for next year's track events.

Maximas aren't that fast at handling but when you do alot of track events its only a matter of time until something bad happens. I've seen enough this track year to take the safety aspect more seriously next season.

Theyre pretty heavy. It wouldn't really be worth the trouble to ship them for that price.
