unfortunately, the time has come to part with the max. it's been sitting and collecting dust and dents and i really dont have the time to mess with it. the car and parts are for sale includind the supercharger. it's a V2 completely modified and upgraded, just had brand new housing, upgraded bearings, seals and blade installed less than 1,000 miles. you can run the tag number for verification. the supercharger is still on the car and running, and comes with 11 psi pulley, walbro gss342 in tank pump, vortech aux pump and all relays, and all parts, and blitz blow off valve. kit is full and complete and runs flawlessly, with not one belt issue what so ever. im looking for (2,300) dollars, just spent 900 full the complete rebuild, so it's still a good deal. i hate to part with it because i just invested time and money just last week in hopes of running it, but the shock towers are too bad, and dont feel like taking out the charger and motor to have it welded properly, so im gonna drop about 400 horses in the 5.5 gen instead,so im still here and aint going nowhere.
heres a vid

yeh im gonna turbo/ nitrous the 5.5, 6 speed. if the frame of the car didnt give out, i would not be putting this car to rest, and the supercharger doesnt fit on the 3.5

guess he doesnt wanna do the 4th gen timing just to be able to switch over the S/C. another way is to use the roots type thats made for the G/Z cars, which would prolly cost more than turbo...would the roots blower even work on a 5.5 gen max

yeh and i roll with a couple of them, but they have 4th gen 3.0 timing conversions, i aint doing that with a 5.5 gen lol. the timing cover on the 3.5 doesnt have enough room to clear the charger. the 3.5 with a blower is mean though.

Oh wow, you're in New York City, I'm in Queens. I'd love to check it out in person. Also, if I do buy, & since its still on your car, do you know someone reliable who can take it out & install it right into my car?

yes i can take it out after you see it run, it only takes about an hour to uninstall, but longer to put in. there has to be wires ran, and putting in of relocating parts. my boy can put it in for you if you need installation, and of course you'll have my master experience of working with the supercharger over 10 yrs.

Experience? Is there anything I need to know ahead of time in working the supercharger, or is it just "plug and play"?? Basically, is it a system I could just install and enjoy the boost of horsepower??

once installed you have to just monitor the belt tension, overtime it loosens a little and needs to be readjusted. when it's cold you must let the car warm up so the belt doesn't slip and jump a rib. if you follow those suggestions the supercharger will be trouble free. i always keep a 14mm wrench and socket in the car and every now and then look at the belt to make sure it's tight.other than that i have never had one problem, the only problem i give is when im whipping someones ***,lol.
