Stillen Strut Bar. Some Surface Rust. - SOLD to shadyonedeath!

As you can see. The rust is only SURFACE RUST! To prove it, I sanded off some of the rust on one end, you can clearly see that everything else is fine underneath that surface.

This is the other end... Yes... I'm too lazy to clean it off and recoat it which is why the price is lower. If you really want me to, I can clean it off properly and even recoat it for you for an extra $30 (PAY FOR TIME) but really you could do it yourself and recoat it with whatever you want for cheaper.

VERY interested in the JWT. Pending I run my VIN, and confirm my emissions status. I believe my ride is Cali.. if it IS, will this ECU set a CEL? Also, did you say you have been running this in a 97 for 70k with a CEL on? Will that cause the ECU burn-in or damage of any sort? I have heard of ECUs going bad after a while from running constantly with a CEL and never addressing the concern after some time.. let me know!

- Unsure of the Cali Spec Questions as I've yet to run this on a Cali car.
- This ECU is in perfect running order. I have not heard of an "ECU burn-in damage" from constant CEL's. If anything I'd think the CEL bulb would burn out first. I have hooked it up to my GF's 96 Maxima and it runs with ZERO CEL's. I can make a video or something too if you really need proof, but I will stand by my word on this.

NO!!!! NEVER EVER EVER TAKE OFF YOUR NEEDLES UNLESS YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO! I uninstalled these without having to pull ANY needles out. You just have to be patient and don't crease the faces. They are flexible enough so that you can bend it slightly here and there to slide them on.

Yes, still have it. Not sure why no one has jumped on this authentic Stillen Strut bar. A little bit of time to sand off the surface rust and $5 to recoat it will bring it back to it's brand new look.

You should be fine then either way since you know how to take them off. But to answer your question. Yes, they slide over the existing face and needles (I do recommend putting a couple strips of double side sticky tape to between the original face and the back of this new gauge, this is what was used to give it a flawless looking finish.

Word of advice... Keep it to 7000 or even 7200 rpms max just to play it safe. Set your MEVI to 5K rpm's or so. Every time you shift from 7200 rpm you'll be right back in the VI powerband.

7500 really isn't necessary and you're going to want to do some headwork if you want to keep revving to that 7500 rpms safely. Believe me... I've taken it to that point before but it sounds way scary. It did increase trap speed for me too compared to 7200 rpm shifts.
