Interested in the Bose. Any additional pics? What do you mean only one year of use? Were these purchased from the dealer a year ago? Or were they removed from the car when it was only a year old?

My front speakers went to crap so I purchased these new. I had them on my car for about a year before it was totalled, thus they have had about a year of use. I can take some more pictures if them, is there anything in particular you are looking for?

In old terms this would be stage 2 of sub frame connectors. You need stage 1 on your car already for these to be of any value.

I don't have know any links in particular about the SF connectors but if you just do a search for them, you will no doubt easily be able to find info on them. These ones were made from truax motorsports (I think thats the name). At this point however he no longer makes SF connectors.

I have no idea if the amp will work for the rears. It seams logical enough but I couldn't tell you.

And as for pulling the speaker apart I'd rather not.

These are just the stage 2 portion of the subframe connectors (the cross bracing that you bolt onto the main rails). I had them installed on my previous maxima, when I wrecked my car I didn't have the cross bracing on the car because I was working on some mods. So if you do not have the side rails, these are of no value to you. however they were made by truax.

Still for sale. this includes everything needed for install. It is a direct bolt on. I had the stock ECU but I was running with the emanage ultimate.

ITB?

[quote=hacim105;7576899]Extrude Honed MEVI - Complete kit - $375 shipped <--- lowered price OBO

Please can you tell what is involved in making the MEVI work somewhat as an ITB hybrid intake. Exactly what is ITB and how does it compare to extrude honing for cost and performance benefit. The extrude honing as given you some very good 1/4 ET, Thanks!

ITB = Individual Throttle Bodies. I'm not sure how to answer this question. You might want to do some research on ITB's. I have no idea if my hybrid intake would have worked. It was a project I was working on before the wreck, so I cannot say whether or not it would have worked. I wish I devoted more time to see if my idea would have worked but then at the same time I wasn't planning on wrecking my car either. Extrude honing and ITB's are 2 completely different things. Extrude honing was actually pretty expensive.

My idea for the ITB was to increase the size of the butterfly plates in the MEVI, use some type of gasket to seal the runners when they are closed. Then remove the MEVI cover. before the MEVI switch activating the intake would operate as normal, after the MEVI opened at full throttle the air would be pulled from the butterfly area thus acting as an ITB at full throttle from 4-5k+ rpms.
