By "I did not test this" do you mean you didn't test the gauges or the extra power supply?

The extra power supply and wiring I didn't test.
The gauges and other power supply were tested as the pic shows.

i would love to have these but even if i bought them i wouldnt know the first thing about replacing mine with these..

It's simple. Remove the black cap from the needle and slip these around the needles. Put the black cap back on and it's done other then finding a power source.
