New Alternator $80 plus shipping

I've got a brand new rebuilt alternator for $80 plus shipping.

I paid $156 for it with a core.. it was another $100 without the core. Looking for a quick sale.

Can post pics if requested.

Post your zip code for a shipping quote..

Has tags, install manual and the foam nut protector. Will be shipped very well padded and secure with bubble wrap. Your choice of parcel post (cheap/slow) or priority (expensive/fast) shipping.

Its a 110 amp OEM replacement. Shipping to your zip code is $13.49 for parcel post or $20.12 for priority with online tracking.

You wont have to splice wires. This will fit the 5th gen as well as several other nissan/infinity models... both the 5th generation and 4th generation use the same part number. The plug on the alternator is designed to fit either a 2 pin or 3 pin design... there is a tag on the alternator about this.

To check fitment go to autozone, advancedautoparts, ect, ect and look up your year/model. This alternator is part number 13402 so if the search of your model/year brings up that part number then you're good!

If your still interested shipping to 29585 will be $14.77 parcel post (slow) or $27.70 for priority (2-3 days)

As for why I have a new alternator laying around... my alternator went out and the car was towed to a service shop. I told the guy at the shop that I'd buy my own alternator and bring it in the next day. Apparently someone didnt get the message because when I showed up the next day they already had a new alternator installed. So the alternator I bought was never used... I tried to take it back for a refund but they only offered exchange.

Still no takers...

Never thought a new alternator for $80 would last this long. This is half price if you have a core and $180 off if you dont have a core.

Maybe I should post in 5th gen classified section? This fits both 4th and 5th gen maximas.

Do you have receipts from AutoZone? How did you return a core if the mechanic had your car and alternator? Wouldn't he of used your alternator as a core when he bought the one he used?

Yes, I got the reciept. I tried to get two different autozones to take it back for a refund and they all refused. Said the best they could offer was a exchange which is stupid since its a new unintalled alt.

I had a old alt at the house to turn in as a core, told the mechanic I'd buy my own. The manager didnt get the memo and had a different mech work on my car. I showed up with the new alt and a new one had already been installed. Needless to say, I was not very happy.

Decided to finally get it listed. Tired of seeing the darn thing.. everytime I see it I think of the whole mess. Dont even own the 4th gen anymore so there is no point in keeping it.

OK thanks, I'll see where the auction goes. I could always use a spare.

If I still had the max I'd keep it just in case. I had a new starter that layed around for years that I thought about selling but it sure was nice to have it on hand when mine went out.
