Looking for preferably a broken hvac unit that includes the amb button. The unit does not need to work but the AMB button and it's track need to be intact. Doesn't matter if it's out of the maxima or the i30. Let me know best price shipped to 06450.

Taking the button (inside) out to put it in a 98 unit (thats equiped but has no button). You can buy the outside of the button but not the inside.

 

Yup I'm in meriden. I might check jy in southington if I get a chance saturday. If you want to keep an eye out in your area I would appreciate it. Cost is key here though.

Your exactly right except for the car. It's going into a 2002 infiniti g20 sport. We have the same climate control insides as the maxima/i30. The outside is different though.

 

So you only need the inside??

 

Top is i30/ maxima with amb button. Bottom is a g20. I need the little white part circled and the button that says AMB.



Obviously I'll take a whole unit.

Hey man theres one at the jy in worcester mass, its in an i30.... idk how long it will be there but i was just there the other day, i didnt have enough cash to grab it though...how much are you expecting to pay? im not going to make much/anything anyhow im just curious how much you want to spend on it

 

my local yard has one listed for $30. I can get one on ebay right now for $20 to my door. Really only wanting the button and button holder hence looking for a broken one. Maybe one someone was just throwing away and would only charge me shipping. I know it's a longshot but figured I'd post up the WTB anyway.

Even if a working unit it has to beat the $20 shipped to my door I see on ebay. I'm going to hit the local pick n pull tomorrow to see if they have an units still in a car. If they have one I'll just disassemble in the yard and take only the button and clip.

 

Ok well let me know how you make out...my next trip ill do the same if you dont got it by then.
