FS: Ultra-rare grey leather I30 seats, front and rear with door inserts

Aside from being in less than 1% of all 4th gens, or any gen for that matter, these have a different stitching pattern than any other 4th gen seat that I've ever seen (on both the front seats and door pads). These seats are in excellent condition with NO rips, no stains, no cracks. There are a couple scuffs, but this is to be expected in 15 year old seats. BOTH front seats are powered, but they are not heated. This includes the coveted rear headrests! Due to the condition and rarity of the seats, I'm asking $500 for everything, but if you have a rear cloth Maxima seat and door pads as partial trade, I can drop the price.

I will try and get some more pics up soon!

Yes, I know these are factory. I've seen plenty of grey cloth seats, but in my 10 years around Maximas I've only seen a handful of gray leather seats, and none with the stitching pattern that is on these. Add to that that these are from an I30 and have rear head rests, and I think these qualify as rare.

So for every 100 black leather seats, how many gray leather seats have you seen? Right now there are like 10 sets of black seats for sale, and I can't remember ever seeing these for sale, so in my book that counts as rare. But thanks for the attitude!

free bump... GLWS

your right, the grey leather is pretty rare... as compared to any of the other colors anyways... Ive personally seen two sets of grey leather in the junk yard. one in a maroon 95-96 maxima and one in a black i30 Limited 1999... although i believe neither of those had grey door inserts like yours. and the reason your stitching is different id guess is because of your year. the 95-96 cars have a different seat and door insert pattern.

your specific combination of 96 i30 grey leather does make it pretty rare though...

side note, is that the twm shift ****? and redline goods shift boots?

Wow, I think I've only seen one other car with grey leather. Touche. But compare that to the number of cars you've seen with tan or black leather and you get my point.

Thanks

The shift **** is a Sola Luna but I have lost the lower silver ring some time ago. And yes, Redline shift/e-brake/console covers.

I owned a 95 GLE before this car and it had the same stitching on the doors and seats that my friend's 97 SE had, as well as every other 4th gen I've seen, so I'm not aware of any differences in the 95/96 and 97-99 cars. But who knows with this sorta thing....

Here's a close up of what the stitching looks like:

its not standard on the 95-96 but apparently it was an option for those years. ive seen probably 50-75 different maximas and i30s in the junk yard and the only years that style has been seen on is the 95-96. and ive seen it enough to know it wasnt just a fluke custom thing, but a factory option of some sort. are your rear seats slightly different as well?

Yeah, I'm aware it's not custom, just rare. The rear seats have the same stitching as every other Maxima.

i think he meant 96 i30's, there were no 95's. the seats i just sold were non-perforated with white stitching, also unusual. i wish i didn't need the money so bad, they were very nice seats.

anyway, from the looks of it the full upper of the seat is actual leather instead of only having leather panels like the Maxima seats do. the 96's, being the first year released, nissan prolly figured they needed to step up the i30's interior considerably. however they cheaped out in the end, lol.
