He cut off the bend since this mani was made for a RWD car and the motor sits 90 degrees counterclockwise as compared to a FWD Maxi

Did you swap lower intake manifolds too? I thought the rwd vq35 has different uim port spacing.

Yes i swapped the lower and port matched it, it will come with the 350z port matched lower also Its not on the car but when it was on the car i could easily remove the rear coils without taking off the mani.

Dont have pics of the port match but i can get some in the am and it wasnt much port matching needed ......i have an 05 3.5 motor in my 4th gen the 350z lower was almost dead on
