Big Brake kit for 95-03 Maxima

I am doing a group buy on a Big brake kit for 95-03 Maxima (4th & 5 gen)
Upgrade your current brakes from 1 piston calipers to 4 piston calipers. Thicker brake rotors and slightly larger in diameter than factory. Improved stopping distances and braking power.

  • NO brackets required
  • Use the entire brake surface, NOT just a portion of it
  • Direct bolt-on (some minor modifications may apply)
  • Directional cross drilled rotors. NOT like most that are all drilled in one direction.
  • May require larger wheels to clear calipers
  • 4 piston calipers (300ZX calipers) Cast, NOT aluminum. Aluminums have a tendency to "flex" under hard braking

Includes everything you need, 2 rotors, 2 calipers, 4 shims. Except for pads. Too many options and opinions on pads.

Need 5 people to commit and pay for the deal to make it happen.
Cost $495 shipped anywhere in the US

****Group buy has been reduced to only 5 people****

PM me for shipping cost. Once GB makes should ship with in 5-6 days.

So I have the following wanting to order:

hitm4n666 rotors only $240 shipped
vq4thgen4life rotors only $240 shipped
Maxboy89 rotors only $240 shipped
Maximeltman rotors only $240 shipped

All we need is 1 more set and then everyone to actually send money.

If I weren't already with a BBK I'd be all over this because I personally know the seller...free bump for a good friend of mine.

It's one of the downfalls of using the z32 calipers that the pads never mate fully to the surface.
Looks like good quality in person, best of luck!

Btw, that comparison in thickness is crazy! Talk about better heat dissipation!!!

I believe it is 12.1 diameter, but not 100% sure. I have a call into my machine shop and/or will measure as soon as it stops raining and I can go measure it.
As to the size of the wheel. It has been done with 17" I have 18". But the off-set is the most important thing to clear the calipers. I don't think it will work with factory wheels

Nope. The factory lines will work or you can get some SS lines since you are doing the swap. Some cars mat need to have the brake line washers replaced as they get a bit compressed from being on the car. My first car needed new one as it leaked a bit around the bolt.

Thet are OEM 300zx blanks. Beyound that there is some serious machining on them. The last set I had on mt boosted 5th gen lasted me over 5 years and then went on another 5th gen for another 2 years befoe he sold the car. Most people know that I drove like my car like I stole it. That is why I love this brake setup. They perform extremely well

On a tech note, the counter sinks are set to show how many time they can be cut before they are beyond limits. There has been a l;ot of thought and design that has gone into these rotors.

Hoping to have finds within the next couple of weeks. Been strapped for cash but I been looking for a bbk upgrade and I need brakes so I'm prioritizing this.

Question. What do we do about abs?

If you have ABS it will remain with your setup. That will not change.
