So I'm going to be getting a 99 VQ30de for parts, all that I want out of it is the crank so the rest of the parts are going to be up for grabs, I haven't seen the motor yet but should be picking it up sometime this weekend. I will put some pictures as soon as I get it and see whats all bad on it. So who would like what?

 

You're buying the whole engine just for the crank?

 

yep yep the ad said the frost plug was out, sooooooo if i'm lucky the block will still be ok (not counting on it) so the valve covers and timing covers should be good along with most of the other parts should be ok, so if anyone is looking for random parts to play with let me know.

I haven't had a chance to go get it yet going to try and get it this week or weekend, it's a bit out of town and I don't own a truck so it's a bit tricky getting everything lined up to get it......

 

So the person flaked out on me, was going to get it sat, he hasn't given me a address said he would when I was on my way to get it, then when I text him that i'm ready to come get it (have transporter set up and all) he doesn't get back to me till the next day so I gave up on it since it was just a deal I couldn't pass up for the part that I wanted, that I'm in no hurry to get.


SSSOOOOOOOO I will be looking for a vq30de crank, so if you have one laying around that your willing to get rid of cheep please let me know....
