Rock Auto is the plug for good prices on parts if you don't mind waiting on shipping. Just don't cheap out on the "economy" brands. Axles are iffy on these cars especially rebuilt non-oem axles. Go with OEM rebuilt, new OEM or import direct from O'Reilly's, I think some people like the new axles from Napa. If you go with others you're probably gonna run into issues not long after replacing.

I got 5th gen tein advance coilovers for $750 off eBay you just have to redrill/enlarge one of the bolt holes on the front struts because it's like an inch off from the 4th gens.

I don't know anything about BC coilovers but I'm very happy with my teins, the advances for 4th gens were $1100 so the little work needed for the 5th gen version was well worth it.

D2 for good and super low axle snapping stuff~I own them
BC's have a good reputation, but I don't think they go as low as D2 if that matters
And I have a good friend that says Ksport are legit, so that's all I know

Are tein still around?

$509 they are getting dirt cheap. Very happy with mine I got them a year or two ago, I'm lowered close to 2inches on 17s with the middle setting for damper I've never messed with it and I'm very happy with the ride quality, I might try messing with the damper when I get the new engine in the car next month

I hear a lot of great things about BC coil overs. I would go with the upgraded spring option and the high line model. There’s only 2 available options. Go with the upgrade.

Springs go with those. Not coilivers.
Theres also no real reason to go ground control style coilovers on this platform either.

How do you install two struts on each coilover? Haha

Maybe you thought he meant springs...

Haha probably.

Yea I wouldn’t use ground controls. They’re not a true coil over.

Are these not considered coilovers?

Do these not require the associated installation of struts?

This implies you can buy any normal coilover and pair it with those struts. The only thing you can do is a ground control setup, which I already mentioned. And again, given that this platform has multiple real coilover options, it's not worth it. Why would you not want to be able to adjust height independently from preload? Or have more dampening options? Or not have to manually align the springs every time you lower the car off of a jack?
