FS: Nissan Consult Interface $25

Selling a Nissan Consult. It works with the Datascan 1 or 2 which you can download for free. Also throwing in a Nisbie for free. It's been years since I used it so don't recall how it operates? The Nisbie has SW on a CD.

To connect the Consult to a laptop you'll need a serial male to USB converter. NOTE: this cable isn't included.

Consult 14 pin grey connector on 1999 Maxima

I need to trouble shoot the nats on 1999 Maxima. The vehicle also has an OBD2 connector. I need to run diagnostics on the NATS (immobilizer). Maxima is not recognizing the key. Engine cranks but does not fire. The red security LED comes on solid about 2 seconds after key is in the run position. The only key could be bad. I need links to the programming cable and software that will work.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

I still have a good key but wanted a second. Dealer can’t program anymore due to upgrades in their programming machine. They recommended a local locksmith but they don’t have the right adaptor apparently and can’t find it. Have you had any luck?

Maximas that are 1998 and before I think do not have the NATS anti theft system. 1999 first year of NATS. keys can only be programmed via 14 pin grey port under the driver's dash. With Nissans Consult software and the proper adapter. 2000 and newer can be programmed via the OBD2 port. 1998 and newer Maximas use a transponder (chip) key. So what year is your Maxima?
