i wanna get some nice rims for my max its a 97 and black im looking for something i like im not to concerned about the weight i found a nice pair called the "bling blings" hoping i could get some feedback on them

In my opinion, they are way too flashy, and are HEAVY, but again, that is my opinion......

Well, it's probably a bit too SOMETHING alright. The 4th gen. max is so sleek and cool, those rims are going to get "old" for you too quickly.. It reminds me of this time at my Nissan dealer talking to one of the salesmen about this brand new 2k2 Altima that was parked out front with "bling blings" on it (while I waited for my car)...everyone agreed how "cool" it was but yet, it wasn't selling...everything was moving around it but not that car. I think we Nissan people tend to be a bit less loud, but all the more proud. Good luck whichever way you go!

 

I like, but definately "bling bling". You better get the rest of the car blinged up or else the rims will look out of place. At least a lowering job and a bodykit are in order.

that's a funny face. Honestly, I don't think they would fit a Maxima's personality of sleek and clean. But hey, if you want 'em, I'm sure you'll get excessive attention

It's your car. IMHO, Maximas look great with a more conservative type of rim. But what do I know, I still like my '97 SE's stock rims.

I just have one thing to say.......

 

If you get those rims, you should probably put chrome trim strips on your wheel wells, get Altezza wannabee taillamps, purple tint with a mirror finish, neon underchassis lights and those blue/green bulbs.

 

Do what you will, but you asked of our opinions, so let me think how I can sum mine up.

 

If you had to choose between the two, get the blings.

 

Why do SO many people here hate on chrome? WHY? Theres only ONE owner to every Max on this board, and everyone has their own tastes. Oh yeah, dont call chrome ghetto cuz in case u never checked the price tag, they aint cheap. That is all.

 

if you do go with those , i'd seriously consider one of those security alarms made just for ur rims.

 

its not my style, but if you like them....then get them and dont listen to all of us

 

get whatever u like its your car. I personally hate any tpe of "conservative fivestar pattern cause everyone has them" i always liked wheels that had a blade look. like i said ur money ur car.

Why not, if you're going to get ugly...get REALLY ugly...

 

I agree that chrome rims are very flashy and don't really fit the Maxima image, so I'm getting some racing rims (yes, probably 5 star).

I also have many friends with chrome rims and they look- well, they're chrome! "bling bling" is the perfect phrase for it. If you're going for the "bling bling" look than go for some chrome rims. I'm sure they'll look nice.

All that being said, the Arelli Bling Blings are some nice wheels. I'd go with them over the Kaz Mirzs. As 95emeraldgxe said those Neeper Haaz are also bad a$$. I probably like them better than the Bling Blings.

 

Huge platinum chains and teeth arent cheap either...but nothing could be more ghetto.

 

I think chrome with black is awesome, I have Azev type b's
