Spring Installation Question ASAP

I've read that when installing springs you should wrap them with a rubber hose pieces to isolate the coils from each other. Do I have to put that from the start of the coil spring (top and bottom)- even on the bottom most part, where the spring rests? And How many coils should be wrapped so they don't make the noise?? please help!

You can use the ones they come on the stock springs. I think it wraps 1 full coil.

used the radio shack wire wrap and wrapeed about 1 coil on top and bottom. That said i dont think it made any difference noice wise, it was just extra work for nothing really. If you want to do it, youll need to buy 2 packs($1.99ea) and it will take you like 15 min. And if by rubber hose piece you mean tubing line - do not buy that it does not work, your never gonna get the tube to the exact curvature of the coil. g'luck

btw I have maxspeed springs
