My 99 SE has a governor. I swear. Have never been able to get it past 120. This was done on a race track.

 

5.5- 139 on a closed track of course.

 

140+ in 99 gle

 

I did like 130 mph coming back from Florida on i95 to new York . I have a 5 spd max these cars kick ***!!!

 

125 downtown with bald tires and worn brakes on 98 GXE auto

 

I punk'd out at 133mph, in my 95 Auto SE....

Gonaa go for the full 145, eventually...

My car drives absolutely fine. Hell, she drives better than most cars. Revs were probably pretty high as 120 for me is the most she goes.

Pegged the speedo, but I was behind a GT @ a track which he said we got up to 143ish but again, speedos are inaccurate @ those speeds so who knows...
