Alright, i wanna compare something. I thikn for x-mas i am guna get a y pipe from my paretns. because after reading all of the feedback from the other posts, i think its safe to say, that the mod is the best for the money. I have a stock maxima, is it worth getting a ypipe w/out an intake, or do you really want them get the Together?? does anyone have just a ypipe? How is it?
1 more question, what about getting an ECU upgrade? would that be btter?

You will need the intake too. I have an intake and am considering getting a y-pipe,you will have more air coming in from the intake and you will need to push more air out = y-pipe more horses and more noise but good noise a growl the ecu upgrade if I'm not mistaken you will have to send it off to them so they can reprogram it can you stand to have your Max down for a week or so? It's worth it if you have the money and have the time for your Max to be down for a while,I want one but I have a family and no money so I can't do it but go ahead just look at the pros and cons.

Yes.

Try to make the Intake one of your first mods.
It'll be worth it.

Try to keep from smiling when you hit it>..hehehhe.

Yeah get the intake too...

I would suggest getting the intake as well... casue there is no point getting a y-pipe if your not taking in more air. Well i guess it would work too, but not as well as if you added on a intake.... especailly adding a cold air intake.... Good luck with your mods... I think I will be joining you with that y-pipe. Sounds like a good bolt on for the money...

UPRD ECU group buy 95-97 Maximas

If we get enough people it is $425 shipping include and the turn around is supposed to be 3 to 4 days. Might want to look into it at http://www.maximadriver.com From your friendly neighborhood adviser......

I'm interested in the ECU, but a little nervous about mods that aren't tried and tested...not to say that this product won't be awesome, but anything that messes with the cars electronics and computer is a nervous undertaking for me.
Please let me know if you have any more info on this product.I'm interested.

Emax95 has this installed on his Maxima, and said it was well worth the money. You can email him and ask about it if you like, he said it was the best mod he has had, and has had almost all of them.
