Which brake pads?

Hey guys, I need to change my brake pads soon. What brand does everyone like or recommend? Or are the OEM pads good enough? I always feel like my brakes are weak and maybe a better pad would help them at least a little until I can get some sort of conversion kit. Thanks!

OEM is good, but my friend has also had good things to say about the Raybestos pads...I think they were quiet stop or quick stop...i'm not sure.

quietstops

I called the dealer about two months ago in trying to get some new pads for the front. They asked for $350 with labor and I told them--heck NO!! Nevertheless, I ended up getting Raybestos Quietstops. At first I wasn't sure because my brakes were making those squeally noises for the longest time and I wanted the noise to go away. In any case, I got the Quietstops ($60 bucks for parts at Pepeboys) and with the labor it came out to $109. That is not a bad deal at all...and as far as the brakes are concerned, they grip very well--and so far, no squealy noises. One other thing about the Raybestos is that after 2 months of not washing my car, I am beginning to notice the brake dusts--so that is another postive for it.
check out the search and you will see a lot of discussion on the quietstops.
