do they make a chip for a 95 max? and if so, who? how much? and how good is it? thanks, cause i'm looking to get mine going abit faster, and i've just got the muffler and intake on it now.

I saw some chips listed on ebay, I dont know what they'd be like, but they're there, type in "maxima chip"... simple enough

ok well to be more specific, i have owned my maxima for about 2 months, and I would like any chip that will either help reduce accel times and eliminate the redline. I am kinda new to the whole import thing, so anything would help.

 

In maxima circles, we call them ECUs because you cant just install a chip, you have to reprogram the ECU. G-Force and JWT do this, and you can expect nice mid-rpm gains from them. However, since you have few mods, get a Y-pipe. The y-pipe will make a larger difference than the ECU will, and gains everywhere in the RPM band, low medium and high rpm, and costs less. which y pipe would you recomen? I was going to buy the one from stillen, but I dont want to be driving around with illegal exhaust on my car cause my uncle owns a shop and he does my inspections knowing him he wouldnt pass it with that on. cause that y pipe supposedly has gains of 10-20 fwhp?? so if anyone has some recomendations that would be great
