You should be able to beat it pretty easily. They are not fast at all. I used to have a Pontiac Grand Am GT and test drove the Fiero before, it was pretty weak to me.

Re: 95 Auto Max vs. Fiero

The 4 cylinders aren't very impressive, you should be able to take it. The v6 and with enough modifications (frame mod kit available), the v8 versions are quite a bit faster though. I haven't run one to date, but my friend had an older v6 and said that it was as fast, if not faster than the max.

this kid has a hardon about how fast and awsome his fiero is and how many hon-duhs he has beat and blah, blah, blah. i think he's pretty full of ****. maybe i'll just wait a week or 2 until i get this funny big silver bottle in my trunk attached to a little red button inside and light him up literally.

my other car is a 1987 GT

my other car is a 1987 fiero gt w/2.8l v6 stroked to 3.2l. this gt runs mid 13's w/ 4spd manual transmission. the 4cyl you wanna race has only like 90 hp, but i think 140 or 150 tq. if its a 1984 with a 4speed, you will get left to about 30 miles per hour, then the fiero will fall flat on its face. theres not much you can do to a 4cyl fiero to make it quick. some people swap in a lot of different engines (VERY easy to do!) ranging from a quad4 HO to a Corvette LT1. stock to stock, i think the fiero **(v6 manual) will take an auto ma**x. theres a dude on fiero.nl who has an auto 6cyl w/ nitrous and is running 12's on a stock size motor. i have had the opportunity to drive a few modified fieros, probably one of the most fun was a fiero auto with the engine from a grand prix GTP (supercharged 3.8l) talk about torque all across the rev range... i dont think even a highly modified max could handle CLOSE to a stock fiero, even the 4cyl (acutally the 4cyl is better balanced) i have had a few fieros

heres a video and some sound clips for your enjoyment

i didnt proofread. o i meant v6- i know theres no V4 fiero, only inline 4. besides, that would contradict my own prior statement. most cars will walk a 4cly fiero in a straight line. but when it comes to a twisty road...

Nice videos. Too bad the one with you cruising in the Fiero only show view from like the rear window. Although there was a very short shot of you flying by in the beginning. I like the sound of the Fiero in the latest video you posted. Very nice.

Like I said, I test drove some Fiero's back in the day. The 4 cyl ones shouldn't be a problem at all. I didn't get a chance to test drive the V6 version though. So I don't know how a V6 one will fair against an auto Maxima. Just race and find out.
