We keep postponing to race cuz me nor my friend have time to go to a racetrack...he is very confident that he'll take on my max. Based on his stats of his 97 pontiac bonneville SSE 200hp(not supercharged) ... they are better then the maxima's stats like 0-60 or 1/4 mile.

So stock on stock 97 Auto's.......who will win???

thanks.

Why not just race him and then post? Who cares if you win or lose. Are you scared to go out and race? Just do it!

the supercharged bonny is a beast, i drove one for a week when my friend left me to take care of it when he went to florida it is really heavy on torque! my grandpa (HAHA, don't make fun of him!) has a 95 oldsmobile delta 88 n/a and it's a heavy son of a b!tch but it has 205hp. i think you should get him in your max.

Have Fun, Drive Seriously, Look Cool, and Smoke Him!

lol, no sorry im not scared......sooner or later we'll race no matter what, but now we both don't have time to go out to a race track OR afford to get tickets by racing in the streets.

I know the cars are heavy but the stats on those cars beat the maxima...so i just wanted some opinions from you guys.

Bonneville sse non supercharged???!! Hmm...... I think i would have to see that to believe it, sse's have the supercharger standard. If it isnt supercharged you will take hmm, but those series II 3.8's are pretty strong 0-60. If he is supercharged you will probably lose. If you had a 5 speed that would be a different story

I beat a bonneville twice. Don't know for sure if it was a SSE but it had 200 HP to the best of my knowledge. I beat him pretty easily both times but I didn't kill him. I also had more people in the car. The race was even till about 50 then I started gaining fast. They may have more HP but they are boats.
