whats up? ok im posting this for a friend of mine who has a 95 GLE, im in the process of helping him work on his max and he needs to know where or how he can get the red clear tails for a 95 max. right now im doing most of the work for him and if there is a way to do it myself i would....i just need to know where i can get the red/clears already manufactured or get the all clears so i can paint the red in for him? thanks for the help in advance!

Actually, there are NO manufacturers that make the all clears for the '95-'96 Max's. They are discontinued. I believe the only way to attempt to get them is that if you bought them from another member. Check the "for sale" section.

 

Also, this is in the 4th gen FAQ

 

Yeah the only way to get them is to buy them used, you cant make them for a 95-96... there not alowed anymore in the US, but if you get on the internert and look , im sure you can find them over seas in jappan

As many of you mentioned that the clear/red for 95-96 is discontinued. I was thinking of just getting the clears, after all I would have 2 remaining red lights on the inner section of the lights (the ones that go up with the trunk). Is this legal? I mean I would still have 2 red lenses which I think thats why they make a big deal about it. Thanks.....
