Suspension feels soft?
Suspension feels soft?
I just bougtht a 1999 GXE with 133,000 miles on it. The suspension feels a little soft. Is that normal for these cars. I never owned a car this big, had a Mustang and many other compacts. I also own a 96 Sentra and it feels like it can hold the road better than the Maxima. I check all corners and there are no leaks. I bounced all corners and there is no excessive bounce after I stop. It does not appear to dive when breaking. Is it me or do you think I may need new struts.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Replace your front struts and rear shocks. That will firm things up nicely.
Your choices are:
Tokico Blues - They provide a very smooth ride with a bit more handling characteristics
KYB GR2 Just about the same as above, perhaps a bit more geared twards performance
KYB AGX - This is a performance geared adjustable. The ride is smooth yet very firm.
There's also an insert cartridge from Koni, these require some modifications to the front strut to make them fit into our cars. The others are all direct replacements.
