I have wondered this. Because I got mine put in a few days ago and I don't feel a difference. All I noticed was my exaust is a lot softer. Where should I be looking for the gains on this?

The "The Dyno Butt 2000" is not acurate enough to really feel the difference.

Their was some dyno work done on this though http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/9289/dyno.html

Blumax

You are talking about the Random Technologies High flow cat.
Right?
I noticed an improvement the first time I punched it.
Maybe my oem cat wasn't flowing too well...dunno, but it definitely helped my car. What do yu have in combination with this mod? Full exhaust mods?
CYA

So what does it do? Lower and add to your torque peak rpm and just add some more hp at the peak hp?

I think it helped some with torque down low and at midrange, but I got a harder scratch going into 2nd every time so I know it helped with upper power as well. I did this mod by itself so I know it did what I noticed in the seat of the pants.
