They shouldn't be on there that tight where you can't get them off, they should only be torqued to 30-32 lbs, maybe theyre rusted on there. But mine where fairly easy to undo.

If they are really hard to get off and you try too hard to remove them you could break the stud which would suck. It would force you to take the suspension apart to replace the upper strut mount. Spray some PB Blaster on them and let them sit for five minutes or so. They should come right off.

Penetrating Fluid

Forget the WD40, go get yourself some good 'ol penetrating fluid. spray it and let it sit for awhile and then spray some more and then go at it w/ a breaker bar..if that doesn't work ...well I guess you'll have to find yourself an impact wrench somewhere.

Lol, speaking of this, i installed mine today Yeah, they were really stuck on good, but this was because i was using a normal hand wrench... Remember that if you get a nice socket wrench with a long handle, it will be much easier to turn and less chance of rounding the bolts.. I just stuck on the much longer torque wrench i borrowed from the mechanic down the road and they popped off no prob after about 15mins of soaking in WD40... I applied some WD at the start and some more 10mins later, then tried the torque wrench on them... Off they came...

Use some real penetrating fluid, like PB Blaster (great stuff; many uses) instead of just a lubricant like WD-40. Small cheater pipe on the ratchet with steady pressure will do it. There might be a thread locker (like Loc-Tite) on there from the factory. They should only have been on there at about 30 ft-lbs, which really is not that much. BTW, don't use a longer torque wrench to break them loose as it can mess up the torque wrench (unless of course you borrowed it from someone you don't like). Torque wrenches are supposed to be precision instruments, even if they're like my cheap $20 one (but it is close enough).

Really? I used the TQ wrench to open mine and i didn't see how it could damage it at all... All i did was turn it very slowly in the left direction (open) and it went to about 32ft lb and opened right up... I don't see how that could ruin the wrench, especially since you're using the same tool, just in a different direction to tighten it back on... I could be wrong as i don't know much about tools, but that seems logical...
