Is this a good deal for a primered grill and painted door handles?

I own a 98 GLE and so I have the chrome-plated door handles and grille. I talked to Tustin Nissan and got quoted a price around $75 for a primered grille, which I could get painted at a local body shop. Also, I got quoted a price of around $45 each for the 4-door handles, which are already painted since they are for the SE Maximas. Plus shipping for all these items also. My question is, are these good deals or is there another way to go about painting the grille and handles body colored. I'm assuming I can't paint the chrome grille and handles on there now, because the paint would never match up perfectly.

Thanks for the help,
Tom

Just curious... Since you are getting pre-painted SE door handles, why not a pre-painted SE grill as well, instead of the primered one? Or do they not come pre-painted?

I think I read some posts where the chrome pieces were sanded, primered, then painted. I'm not sure what difference this makes in terms of matching up paint though...

Why not take your door handles to a body shop and have them painted and clear coated (if this is even possible)? I just got a quote from my local body shop (who does RELALY good work), and to paint my entire right fender and right front passender door, the cost was going to be about $320. So, I would assume to paint the door handles would be less than you would pay to get all new ones from the dealership, since they are painting something so small. I would think that it would be less than $180 (if it only costs around $300 to paint a fender and a door), since $180 is what you'll be paying for all new handles. Any suggestions? Because I want body colored handles on my car, too.

well i took my car up to a body shop and they said that they couldnt paint over chrome-plated parts, and that even if they did the paint would never match up perfectly to the rest of the car; and no they don't make an SE grill pre-painted
