is it possible conversion from regular air conditionning control panel to automatic one simply by changing those panels ? Is any chance it works ?

its very expensive to do so.........not worth it either, cause if u have it installed, you'll prolly have it on manual mode all the time, which defeats the purpose of it

 

what if you wanted it just for the looks, but functional?

 

in that case all u have to do is take the metal bars from the center console off of one with climate controls. The reason being is that me and 96Pearlmax was experimenting trying to put a GXE center console on my GLE and everything fit except my climate control cause the metal bars behind the center console is shaped in a way that the climate controls right butt cheek can't fit in. We had to take one side from GXE and one side from GLE to fit everything perfectly.

This should allow you to fit it all in there and u can have an AC but i dont' think u can adjust temperature and what not...there's a few harnesses and what not missing on the GXE which makes it real complicated and also a little expensive to fully convert it to work wit auto climate....
