Original Equipment Replica Wheels?

I'd like to put a set of '97/98 5-spoke wheels on my '96...and have found a couple of distributors with replicas (right down to the Nissan logo). I was wondering if anyone had any experience with aftermarket knockoffs. If so, how would you rate them? Are they as good as OEM's? Are there any differences in the finish, quality, material, weight, etc?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

i'm not sure on the quality of the replicas, i am sure it would vary with the seller/maker. but i have seen those wheels on ebay for around $400 for the set.

You can get used SE wheels for around $400 with a little searching.

Do they have wheels that look like OE but are wider and/or bigger? Who sells these?

The wheels are replicas, right down to the size. Just as Requin6 suggested, I've seen them on eBay. I've been searching for a while and haven't found any used wheels. Do you have any leads?

I would keep an eye on ebay and the parts for sale forum here, guys are always upgrading to aftermarket rims. Unless the replicas are as good as stock but no one seems to know, so

Thanks for all the responses. Guess I'll try to be patient and wait for some OEM's to show up. I just don't want to bite the bullet on the replicas without seeing them first hand.

Thanks again.
